About Prayerhood
What is Prayerhood?
Prayerhood is a digital Christian magazine based in Ghana. We publish articles on prayer, faith, fatherhood, parenthood, testimonies and inspiration, alongside a daily devotional, Christian events, live worship broadcasts and free newsletters. You can read more on our About page.
Is Prayerhood free?
Yes. Every article, the daily devotional and all of our newsletters are free to read.
Do I need an account to read Prayerhood?
No. You can read everything and subscribe to our newsletters without creating an account.
Which Bible translation do you use?
Unless an article says otherwise, scripture on Prayerhood is quoted from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB). It is an accurate, readable modern translation, and it is in the public domain, so we can share it freely in articles, emails and images.
Who writes the articles?
Our articles are written by the Prayerhood team and invited contributors. Where an article draws on other research or reporting, you will find the sources listed at the end of it.
Reading and watching
What is the daily devotional?
Each day we share a verse of the day with a short prayer written around it. Find it on Today's Devotional, or get it in your inbox with the Daily Verse + Prayer newsletter.
How does Live TV work?
When we are broadcasting a service, concert or event, it plays right on our Live TV page. When nothing is live, the page will tell you, so check back or follow us on social media for broadcast times.
How can I share an article?
Use the share buttons at the top and bottom of every article to send it on WhatsApp, Facebook, X, Telegram, LinkedIn or by email, or to copy the link.
Can you list our church's event?
We'd love to hear about it. Use our Submit your event form to send the event name, dates, venue, a registration link and the flyer. Listing is free. We review every submission and list the ones that fit on our Events page, in Ghana and around the world.
