Welcome to Prayerhood. These terms apply whenever you visit or use our website, create an account or subscribe to our newsletters. By using Prayerhood, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. About Prayerhood
Prayerhood is a Christian magazine offering articles, devotionals, event listings, live broadcasts and newsletters. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate information when you create an account and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away at hello@prayerhood.com if you think someone else has used it.
- Accounts are not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, please use Prayerhood with a parent's or guardian's permission.
- You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
3. Using Prayerhood responsibly
When using Prayerhood, you agree not to:
- break any law or encourage anyone else to;
- post or send anything abusive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, misleading or defamatory;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection with any person or organisation;
- try to access accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to access, or interfere with the site's security or operation; or
- use automated tools to copy large amounts of our content, or send spam.
4. Our content
Articles, devotionals, graphics and the Prayerhood name and logo belong to Prayerhood or the people who created them, and are protected by copyright and other laws.
You're welcome to share links to our articles and to quote short passages with a credit and a link back to Prayerhood. Please ask us before republishing whole articles.
Scripture quotations are from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), which is in the public domain, unless another translation is stated.
5. Not professional advice
Our articles are written to encourage and inform. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, or for the care of a pastor who knows you. If you or someone you know is in crisis or in danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted professional straight away.
6. Events, advertisements and links
- Events listed on Prayerhood are usually organised by other churches and ministries. Details can change, so please confirm times, venues and registration with the organiser. Registration forms on other websites are run by those organisers.
- Advertisements are provided by third parties. An advertisement is not an endorsement by Prayerhood of the advertiser or everything they teach or sell.
- Links and embedded content (such as the video broadcasts on Live TV) come from other services. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
7. Newsletters
If you subscribe, we will send the newsletters you chose. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Prayerhood available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date. We may change or withdraw any part of the site without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
Prayerhood is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, from events or services run by others, or from content on third-party websites. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Prayerhood after an update means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
