Convention of Saints 2026: He Is Faithful | Royalhouse

Every year, Royalhouse Chapel International sets apart a week for Convention of Saints, and every year people walk in carrying something. A prayer that has gone unanswered for too long. A promise that seems to have gone quiet. A calling they've started to doubt.

This year's theme speaks directly to all of that: He Is Faithful.

Convention of Saints 2026 runs from Tuesday, 29th September to Sunday, 4th October, at 5:30pm each night, at the Oil Dome, Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange, Accra.

The promise behind the theme

The theme is drawn from 1 Thessalonians 5:24: "Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it."

It's one of the shortest verses in the letter, and one of the most loaded. Paul places it right at the end, after a long list of instructions: rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in everything, hold on to what is good. Then he prays that God would sanctify the believers completely, spirit, soul and body.

Read that list honestly and it can feel impossible. Who rejoices always? Who prays without ceasing?

That's exactly why verse 24 is there. Paul doesn't end with "now try harder." He ends by pointing away from the Thessalonians and toward God. The One who called you is faithful, and He will do it. The weight of completion doesn't rest on you. It rests on Him.

What God's faithfulness actually means

We use the word "faithful" easily, but Scripture gives it real weight.

It means God keeps His word. Numbers 23:19 reminds us that God is not a man that He should lie. What He has spoken, He will bring to pass.

It means God stays constant when we don't. 2 Timothy 2:13 says that even if we are faithless, He remains faithful, because He cannot deny Himself. His faithfulness isn't a reward for ours. It's who He is.

It means His mercy shows up new every day. Lamentations 3:22-23 was written from the ruins of Jerusalem, in one of the darkest seasons of Israel's history. Right in the middle of that grief, the writer declares that God's compassions fail not, that they are new every morning, and great is His faithfulness.

And it means He finishes what He starts. Philippians 1:6 carries the same promise as our theme verse: He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.

For the one who has been waiting

Some people will come to the Oil Dome this week with a promise they received years ago that still hasn't come to pass. Others are standing in a situation that makes it hard to believe God is paying attention at all.

If that's you, this theme is not a slogan. It's an invitation to reconsider the evidence.

Look back over your own life. Count the doors that opened when they shouldn't have. The provision that arrived just in time. The seasons you didn't think you'd survive, and did. God's track record in your life is longer than your current problem.

Hebrews 10:23 puts it simply: hold fast the profession of your faith without wavering, for He is faithful that promised. The instruction to hold on is followed immediately by the reason. You can hold on because He hasn't let go.

Convention of Saints 2026

Six nights of the Word, worship and prayer, all centred on one truth about who God is.

How to prepare for the week

Convention of Saints is not a week you should simply show up to. The people who receive the most are usually the ones who come prepared.

  • Pray before you arrive. Ask God specifically what He wants to speak to you about this week. Write it down.
  • Bring your unfinished promises. Come with the prayers you've stopped praying. This theme was made for them.
  • Come every night if you can. Messages build on each other across a convention. Missing nights means missing part of the story.
  • Take notes. What you write down this week is what you'll return to in the months after.
  • Invite someone. A colleague, a neighbour, a family member who has drifted. The theme is one that almost everyone needs to hear this year.
  • Arrive early. Doors fill quickly, and the time before service starts is a good moment to quiet your heart.

Can't be there in person?

The convention will be streamed live, so you can join from wherever you are:

He will do it

Whatever you carry into the Oil Dome this week, the promise holds. The One who called you has not changed His mind. He is not late, He has not forgotten, and He does not abandon what He begins.

Faithful is He that calls you. And He will do it.

See you at the Oil Dome.
